You are looking for new prospects and customers for your business?

Here are some simple steps to increase your chances of finding new clients for 100% free.

Start by creating your business profile on the various online DIRECTORIES.

The first one to start with? Google my Business (GMB). People go online to search for a business. They do not look at the yellow pages anymore. That’s why you want to make sure your business has a completed profile online. This makes sure that your business can be found online.

What are the most important points search engines are looking for?

  • Start with the CATEGORY that applies to your business.

When people search they will look for something specific, like “dentist palm springs ca” or “dentist near me”.

  • REVIEWS will give your business a big boost. Do you have at least 100 online reviews? If not, start asking your current clients for reviews. The quality and quantity of reviews is one of the most important ranking factors.
  • Correct Opening hoursmust be listed to tell potential clients if your business is open.
  • You are allowed to add ten photos to your profit in GMB. Make sure to add all of them.
  • Share relevant posts on your profile about your business. Make at least five posts to increase your location authority when you setup your profile.
  • Once you have completed your profile, you need to CLAIM the business. Google will send you a postcard with a code and once you receive it you need to login to your profile and complete the process.

Once you see that your profile is 100% complete, published and claimed, you can just copy and paste the same text and information into other online business directories, like Local City Places and others. The more directories you are listed in, the better.

Change some of the photos, post a video, or post additional information, but make sure that the basic information is EXACTLY the same. It is extremely important that you have identical information on all online directories. This will build your organic traffic and increase your chances of getting found, when people are looking for a business like yours. This also means you might get some free traffic.
